Lucy and Tom’s Timeless Wedding at St John’s College Chapel, Cambridge

Lucy and Tom’s wedding was a stunning celebration of love, history, and personal touches. The couple chose the iconic St John’s College Chapel at Cambridge University, a venue close to Lucy’s heart, as she had studied there as a medical student. This centuries-old chapel, with its awe-inspiring architecture and rich history, provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding vows.

A Magical Ceremony at St John’s College Chapel

The ceremony at St John’s College Chapel was an unforgettable moment, as guests lined the aisles and the men's choir filled the chapel with harmonies from the choir stalls. The atmosphere was nothing short of magical, creating the perfect setting for Lucy and Tom to say their vows.

One of my favorite moments of the day was when I captured their vows from above, from the organ balcony. This elevated perspective gave a unique, intimate view of the ceremony, highlighting the significance of the moment in a beautiful way.

Post-Ceremony Portraits at Cambridge University

After the ceremony, we took a stroll through the beautiful grounds of Cambridge University for portraits, family group shots, and some candid, relaxed moments. The weather was kind to us, with the sun shining on the couple and their guests. We even took a walk along the River Cam, where the couple were cheered on by punters as we crossed the iconic Bridge of Sighs—a stunning backdrop for wedding photos. A Reception at Fulbourn Lodge

Next, we headed to Fulbourn Lodge, a charming and secluded wedding reception venue nestled in the picturesque Cambridge countryside. The intimate setting provided the perfect place for Lucy and Tom to celebrate with their loved ones.

Personal Touches and Unique Moments

Lucy and Tom truly made their wedding day their own by incorporating personal and quirky touches. One of the highlights was the unique VW van they used to travel from the chapel to the reception. I had an idea to make their entrance even more special—rather than simply arriving at the venue, we had them drive directly into their confetti line, creating a magical moment as they stepped out to a flurry of colorful confetti. The photos from this moment were absolutely stunning!

Evening guests were surprised with a Korean food van, adding a fun and delicious twist to the evening. The dancing and celebrations continued long into the night.
