Christening in Hitchin

It was a beautiful sunny Sunday in Hitchin and I went along to St.Marys Church in the heart of Hitchin to photograph this family Christening.

Its a stunning church with the most amazing natural light streaming through the windows. Around lunch time you get the most incredible beams of light hitting the Fontfrom the high windows.

The 15th century Font where the Christening took place has twelve apostles carved at it's base that were mutilated by Puritan soldiers in the Civil War.

Baby Finley stole the show with his cheeky smile!
